Abstract
|
the developed econometric model with non-linear cost functions allows to optimize the economic parameters
of the supply chain participants in case of their economic independence. The discovered analytical relations make it possible
to determine equilibrium values for tariff, product price and traffic volume, to maximize profit of each supplychain
participant with various transportation tariffs to be charged.

Abstract
|
Neoliberal economic myths are the basis and denominator of the globalization processes and post-social economic transition. The article's staring point is the hypothesis that these are two interrelated phenomena, reflecting their evident similarities through the dominantly expressed interest motives of "reformers" and application of neoliberal economic recipes. In addition to this, the article is providing evidence that monistic pseudo-market reforms in the period of post-socialist transition haven't succeeded in compensating for a vast institutional vacuum, and that they have even led to its spreading and turning into a quasi-institutionalization.

Abstract
|
Process of investment decision's acceptance in conditions of a competitive market environment has been examined. Principal causes of uncertainly presence at an estimation of investment decision's parameters are allocated. Methods and means of overcoming and formalization of uncertainty are analysed. Application of the theory of fuzzy sets for reception of authentic and adequate results of investment estimations has been proved.

Abstract
|
The main motive for share issuance is the collection of additional capital in order to facilitate the growth of the company, and decrease indebtedness. Initial public offer is the first issuance of shares in a company, eg the mechanism of capital collection by issuing shares to the public. Since the IPO process is extremely complex and time-consuming, it involves a large number of internal and external team members such as financial consultants, legal consultants and marketing
advisors. Nevertheless, there are three main phases in the IPO process as follows: the preparatory phase, implementation phase and stabilization phase. Banks as financial consultants perform most of the preparatory phase, and through the form of underwriter in the implementation of public offer.Taking liability for the quality of IPOs

Abstract
|
Constant exposure of economy to shocks hinders the process of creating monetary policy. Since effects of shocks are sometimes impossible to predict, central banks face difficulties in making decisions and operating. According to one view, central banks, in the absence of a stable financial system as a constituent part of its functions, cannot achieve monetary stability. According to another opinion, the supposition, often mentioned in the context of the current crisis, that monetary policy in crisis situations cannot be efficient is wrong. There are no guarantees that central banks will be able to cope with a burst of a bubble. The claim that world central bankers have saved the global economy from a collapse can be interpreted as equal to their role in creating the current crisis.

Abstract

This paper represents a particular attempt to categorize some relevant passenger ports e-services. Generally speaking, ports' e-services might be categorized due to their functionality as navigational, ship and passengers related ones; logistics, business, entertainment, safety, security, environmental, and others. In this paper, only those ports' e-services related directly to the passengers' needs, mostly in the context of cruising tourism, are taken into consideration and accordingly categorized as core, or as value added ones, and as informational and/or transactional ones. Then, each of the e-services for the analysed passenger port, taken from a predefined set of ports, has been assigned with 1 or 0 values depending on that if the port offers related e-service or not. These values are later weighted by the appropriate, subjectively evaluated, indexes and employed in the calculation of the total score of the performance measures for each passenger port. Finally, in such way obtained scores have been used in the process of the considered passenger ports benchmarking, i.e. their proper positioning at the respective e-market.

Abstract
|
In this paper the authors were exploring causes and consequences of implementation of cash netting in securities settlement system in Montenegro. From its foundation in 2000 till the beginning of April 2009 Central Depository Agency (CDA) used real-time gross settlement (RTGS) model. Such model assumed «trade-for-trade» (TFT) principle
where cash and securities were settled in real time, on a gross basis for each transaction individualy. From the above manetioned date CDA also introduced cash netting system (CNS) - securities settlement model which assumes cash netting, while secutities are still settling on a gross basis. This «assymetric» settlement model produced some results which authors analysed in the context of the local capital market.

E-logistics is the base structure of the global model of e-business. First of all, it supports positioning of businesses in the global work division. E-logistic and the business model based on e-logistics, support customer value creation through establishing streamlining business processes, which create value. This paper exploits not only global business model of e-logistic but also analysis tools for determination its financial perspective. We believed, at the time, that the business model e-logistic becoming increasingly important for companies' success. Abstract

Non-material resources in the modern business world, hold a key position as «exceptional» and as the resources can bring competitive advantage to the companies. This makes managament of intangibile resources one of the basic challenges in modern managament that ensures optimal use of this valuable strategic resource as well as building success based on knowledge. After consideration and theoretical reflection of competitive advantage from the perspective
of non-material resources, and highlighting the organizational knowledge as a fundamental intangible resource for the achievement of business success, its features and problems related to its management, the main purpose of this paper is primarily to present analysis of knowledge management practices in Serbian companies. Analysis of knowledge management practices in Serbian companies pointed out the weak development of knowledge management in the Serbian organizations. This work attemps to answer questions regarding very important issues of knowledge management, such what is the cause of poor development of knowledge management practices in Serbian companies and how to improve it.

In Montenegro, as well as in other countries, human resources represent a key factor of economic growth and development . In order to provide quality human resources, it is necessary for them to be permanently developed, I.e. To invest in them continiously. In recent years, there have been noticeable efforts in the development of human resources, although practice shows that their quality has to improve significantly in the future. Questions arising, refer to resolving of structural unemployment, the issue of improving the quality of education in terms of alignment with modern developments in the labor market, assertion model of seasonal employment of lhe labor, providing the same conditions for everyone in the labor market, sanctioning of "unreported or illigal", employment etc. Precise indications and arguments suggest that, regardless of progress made, changes are imminent.

With entering into force of the Lisbon Treaty on December 1, 2009 a long-awaited EU institutional framework has been established. The main goal of this Treaty is to enable more efficient, transparent and democratic
work of the institutions. The Lisbon Treaty regulates the institutions of the Union: European Parliament, European Council, Council, European Commission, The Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Central Bank and the Court of Auditors. Apart from defining the Union institutions, the Treaty brings also many changes through introduction of the new positions in the work of the institutions. Within the combination of legal realtions regarding navigation, the ship has been gradually accepted all over the world as a responsible economic unit, in other words, there is a personification of the ship. Economic independence of the ship allowed creation of the legal law of pledge on the ship. In maritime law there are difficulties which are only
partially resolved by unification, i.e. by adopting unique norms of substantive law in certain fields. The paper discusses the importance of insurance of shippers in terms of business success of maritime companies. It is started from the hypothesis that the unification of maritime law has contributed to a high level of legal security of shippers' insurance. The above hypothesis is verified in the paper.

Abstract

Representations that the hand of the market is better, than regulators, have removed a birth of management science the market for uncertain time. Under the influence of business the mankind has come to the
abnormal market - to the business market which has created preconditions of domination of financial sector of economy over real, and has brought a society to danger from financial tools of the reference. The author's concept of the developed market will allow to carry out updating of social sphere, to reach steady growth of level and quality of a life of the population in which the leading place will belong to sciences about a life, the person, a society. And to carry out it it is necessary in the adverse starting conditions created world and national economic crises.

Abstract
|
Pension insurance is a very important component of the total social policy of almost all countries of the modern world. It represents a form of "compulsory" saving of an individual in the period when he/she is not capable for working any more. Private pension systems are an establish set of processes and relations of their holders. Due to their importance in a social system, the role of the state is undisputable in their regulating and implementing. There is a law on voluntary pension funds in Montenegro and it has been applied since 2007. Until now three associations for managing pension funds and two funds are organized. This work analyses basic preconditions for further implementation of the system of voluntary pensions in Montenegro: macro-economic stability, general fiscal stability, creating appropriate efficient institutions, regulatory and supervisory agencies, as well as other preconditions (critical capital mass, adopting the appropriate regulations, optimization policy etc).

Abstract
|
The growth model which Montenegro has been applying for fifteen years of transition has proved useless in practice. Nowadays, after so many years and privatisations, the situation is much worse than at the very beginning. The Montenegrin economy has hardly any production of its own and is dependant on inflow of foreign direct investments (FDI), which are reduced globally due to the global economic crisis. Even before this crisis, we had high public expenditure, inefficient administration, unresolved property-legal relations which hinder tourism, poor investment in research and development, huge problems with quality education. The global economic crisis has only resulted in a furter
decrease in gross national product (GNP), deficit growth, unemployment, a lack of liquidity of the real sector. Montenegro urgently needs a different transition, which would have to be based on a serious development strategy, creating international competitiveness of domestic products and an adequate legal and economic framework for investing in export-oriented sectors.

Abstract
|
Market risk is the potential loss on investment due to fluctuations in the market value of traded position that cannot be hedged or diversified away. Value at Risk (VAR) is a standard measure of market risk, adopted by all financial market participants. Its use in risk management is a legal and regulatory requirement. VAR is a single number that defines risk as mark-to-market loss on a fixed portfolio over a fixed time horizon, assuming normal markets. This paper presents and compares several VAR methodologies: parametric, historical, historical simulation and stochastic (Monte Carlo) simulation. It can be shown that, despite excessive computational requirements and reliance on sophisticated mathematical models; Monte Carlo simulation is a superior to alternative VAR measurement methods, due to its flexibility and adaptability.

Abstract

Supply chain management (SCM) as a new business philosophy is a source of numerous advantages for the companies that are included in such a unique business chain network. Logistic management, as a part of SCM, on the other hand, represents a field with best opportunities for cost savings. The article defines the concept of SCM and distinguishes
it from the logistic management. The author also explains the concept of clusters and cluster policy by analyzing their influence on SCM. Clusters are featured by accessibility of raw materials, presence of capital and manpower, scientific and technological equipment, as well as complete infrastructure necessary for successful SCM.

The end of the XX and the beginnig of the XXI century is characterized by the scientifical-technological progress, which is escorted by constant and dynamical changes in the socio-economic processes. Adaptation of numerous and different changes, growing competition and constant improvement of the performances, is the basic condition for the
existence and progress of each modern enterprise. New changes in regard of the demands of environment, stipulate the changes in the enterprises, too, first of all, through the necessity of the acquiring and implementation of new knowledge in all functionally organized areas. Business society is in the phase of management revolution which focuses significance of intelectual capital and its application in order to secure competitive advantages of the organizations today. Organized
knowledge becomes critical factor which influences the innovation of the enterprise – its ability to create new, applying and usufel knowledge for trade. That is the reason way successful organizations are considered as innovative organizations which permanently invest in knowledge and education of their employees, and degree of investing in this area becomes one of the most important indicators of understanding of the basic business tendencies.
